Uric-X™ combines Terminalia bellerica and tart cherry fruit (Prunus cerasus) to help maintain healthy blood uric acid levels. Terminalia bellerica is a deciduous tree common in Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent. Its fruit and kernel oil have been employed in Ayurvedic and Unani (Greek) medical traditions since ancient times. Terminalia bellerica’s primary mechanism of action is inhibition of xanthine oxidase, an enzyme involved in the synthesis of uric acid.* Cherries contain high levels of anthocyanins providing antioxidant support, along with support for proper uric acid levels.*
