Herb Pharm prepares their Umckaloabo extract from the root of Certified Organic Pelargonium sidoides plants. The herb is responsibly harvested from its native South African environment. It is also known as African Geranium.
The herb is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol for potency and to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant. Herb Pharm assures herb identity via macroscopic and organoleptic analysis, then confirms it through methods such as HPTLC fingerprinting specific to each herb. The formula is easily dispensed, taken in liquid form and added to water or other liquid.

We prepare our Umckaloabo Extract from the root of Pelargonium sidoides plants, which are Certified Organically Grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. To assure optimal extraction of Umckaloabo’s bioactive compounds, the roots are handharvested, carefully shade-dried and are then thoroughly extracted.
