Siliphos combines a flavonoid from milk thistle (silybin) with phospholipids to form a well-absorbed complex.* It offers liver-supporting benefits and helps maintain normal levels of glutathione.* Milk thistle contains multiple constituents with strong antioxidant activity that can help neutralize free radicals, strengthen liver cell membranes, and help maintain the liver's built-in antioxidant system – glutathione and superoxide dismutase (SOD).* The milk thistle constituent silybin – the most active flavonoid in milk thistle – has been utilized to support the liver's response to environmental toxins. Thorne's Siliphos provides the supportive benefits of silybin and phosphatidylcholine in one well-absorbed compound.* Studies indicate this silybin-phosphatidylcholine complex provides superior absorption compared to conventional milk thistle products.*
